Revisão do tempo presente

Com essa seção, finalizamos o estudo do tempo presente. A tabela abaixo resume os tempos vistos até agora. Present Perfect Continuous / Progressive

Não estudamos esse tempo detalhadamente, mas explicaremos ele aqui rapidamente, pois se você já entendeu o Present Perfect, o Present Perfect Continuous (ou Progressive) é bem simples.

Enquanto o Present Perfect enfatiza uma ação constante e permanente, o Continuous enfatiza a continuidade da ação.

Exemplo:
We have studied hard at university.
Enfatizamos que o estudo é constante na universidade e tem uma duração maior que o próximo exemplo.
We have been studying hard for the exam.
A frase acima indica que estamos estudando duro, enfatizando o processo de estudo para o exame que está perto de acontecer.
